If you live in the NYC area and have never eaten at Cafeteria then shame on you. It's open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and has some really amazing dishes. I've only been once but it's on my list of places to return to. I'm a fan of homestyle meals so of course I ordered The Meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and roasted tomato relish. Delish! The wait was kind of long but it was a weekend so that's to be expected and in typical NYC fashion the seating is super close to fellow diners, as a Jersey girl I hate that! But once your plate comes trust me you'll forget all about the fact that you are practically sharing a table with strangers.
