SS 2011 Roberto Cavalli

The creative designer worked hard and showed a sensual woman from head to toe. Getting a trip among 70’s the collection comes with fluid dresses, fringes and strategically cut outs showing the flat stomach. Different from the trend way, Cavalli invested in low waist, boot flare trousers and detailed it using artisanal work of his native land, Florence.

The garments filled with sequins, beads and crystals. The dresses had asymmetrical hem and random cut outs, enhanced by fringes and a worn effect. The palette looked worn as well, getting pale hues which didn’t changed too much, passing throw taupe and ivory to ice white and beige. The animal prints gave an even more savage appeal to it and by the end the sheer appeared to close the combo of sensuality.
